David Scott, SVP Planning
With experience as project architect for 10 years, Scott brings a unique background to his role leading the Gude teams in the areas of program management, construction management and design. With an expertise in finding the best balance of form and function, he helps clients complete projects that exceed expectations. Scott brings with him over 30 years of experience in the development field. Prior to joining Gude, he served as President and CEO of DKS Program Management. DKS provided real estate development consulting services for urban development programs throughout the southeast. Scott was a designer and construction administrator for transportation, institutional, commercial and residential projects for a number of clients. Today Scott leads the execution of several key projects for Gude including the National Center for Civil and Human Rights (CCHR) and the College Football Hall of Fame (CFHoF) in downtown Atlanta. He is also directing large public management projects including the Glynn County Public Schools and the Georgia Department of Transportation MMPT. With a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Scott’s roots are deeply imbedded in urban revitalization. He enjoys volunteering his time with various local civic groups.
